I am so pleased that you are here. I fully believe that healing is a natural part of our human experience and I am honored to be a part of your healing journey. I practice "unconditional positive regard" with all of my clients, which means I provide a non-judgmental environment where you can be your authentic self and feel comfortable telling me anything. My therapeutic and personal approach to life is assuming that we are all doing the very best we can despite whatever circumstances we are facing. I will meet you right where you are and together, we will figure out the best way to move forward.

I enjoy working with couples and with individuals of all ages. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and address all sorts of issues. CBT allows you, the client, to take ownership of the counseling process and feel empowered to find solutions to your own presenting concerns. I will be with you every step of this journey.

In my free time outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time with my wife traveling and spending time outdoors. My outdoorsy spirit enjoys kayaking, hiking and taking in all the beautiful scenery that North Carolina has to offer. I also love live theatre and one of my all-time favorite shows on the big stage is "Wicked." Another love of mine is my extensive bow-tie collection that will make regular appearances in the office each week.
