MSW / LCSWA
I believe that effective therapy begins with a person-centered approach, recognizing the unique experiences and needs of each individual. My guiding philosophy is that one cannot help others heal without first helping oneself. This principle shapes my commitment to personal growth and self-care, enabling me to provide the best possible support to my clients. I understand that life’s challenges, especially grief and loss, can feel overwhelming and isolating. My goal is to help you navigate these difficult times and find balance. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. If you are dealing with grief, anxiety, depression, or any other life challenge, I am here to help you.
I understand that taking the first step toward seeking help can be daunting, but you aren’t alone. Your well-being is important to me, and I look forward to supporting you. Together, we can work towards healing and finding balance in your life. If you’re struggling, please reach out-I’m here to support you on your journey to healing and well-being.
I hold a Bachelor of Human Services and a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from Gardner Webb University, as well as a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). My education and training equip me with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective and empathetic counseling services.
In addition to my academic qualifications, I have gained valuable experience working in the prison system and spent three years as a child protective services investigator. These roles have deepened my understanding of complex emotional and psychological issues and have enhanced my ability to support clients through their struggles.
