I'm so happy you're here! Life often presents a variety of challenges that you may not be prepared to face, especially if you are facing them alone. Those challenges can cause feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, confusion, and can leave you feeling like you are not grounded in yourself. My priority is to create a warm, safe space where you can explore why you are feeling this way, and make progress towards living the life you desire.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all scenario, so I tailor my therapeutic approach to fit the person sitting in front of me. Some of my favorite modalities to work with to accomplish this goal are person-centered therapy, ACT, mindfulness, and CBT. I approach therapy holistically, and it is important to me to honor all of the aspects that make you, you.
Taking the first steps to start therapy can be your first steps towards living a more authentic life, but it can also be intimidating. My goal is to meet clients where they are so that they can feel heard and accepted each step of the way. If you feel like we would be a good fit, I would be honored to walk with you on your journey.
Outside of the office, Megan enjoys yoga, reading fantasy books, and looking for the best vanilla latte in Charlotte!
