You wake up feeling like it's Groundhog day saying hello to anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma, yet again. You've tried all of the conventional things people have said to do like "go to the gym", "make friends", "have a drink to relax", and yet life still isn't quite what you've envisioned and worked so hard for. Perhaps, some of the conventional pieces of advice have backfired. You've found that you're snapping at people you love, your eating patterns have become emotionally driven, online shopping is a battle, and the way you cope just isn't working. It only makes sense that you would try these things, you want a better life!

Your life can move in the direction you'd like it to. Those unhealthy coping mechanisms won't seem so appealing. What about your relationships with friends and family? You can be fully present with them. You don't have to feel out of control by self-medicating with food or shopping and can, instead, get back to doing these things merely for the enjoyment of them.

I became a therapist after seeing these patterns amongst people I care about and after my own life-altering therapy. The therapy space is a place of safety, driven by you, where you are free to express yourself, experience healing, and try out new ideas, tools, and skills. Take the first courageous step today and reach out to me. I promise you're worth it.

In my spare time I'm a busy homebody. I like to spend time with my family and 2 dogs. I can usually be found reading, exercising, gardening, sewing, knitting, cooking, and once in awhile watching the latest bingeable series.
