Helping Children, Teens, and Families Heal and Thrive-Together. Hi there, I'm Dorinell, a dedicated yet spirited individual driven to helping young people navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and empathy. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey-one where you feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

With 15 years of experience working with youth aged 0-18, I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-regulation, and behavioral modification. My approach is integrative, drawing from modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based practices, Practicing-Self Regulation, Motivational Interviewing, and Teaching Family Model Skills to tailor treatment to your unique needs.

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, goofy, energetic, welcoming, and personable. I work hard to make sure you feel safe, accepted, and free to be yourself-so you can talk things out, build confidence, and reconnect with the strengths that make you who you are.

I'm a firm believer that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued-no matter your background, identity, or what you're going through. Whether you're navigating something specific or just trying to understand yourself better, I'm here to walk beside you. I show up as an advocate for all, creating a space where you don't have to shrink, hide, or explain who you are. Healing isn't always a straight path, but with the right support, it's real-and it's yours to claim.

Outside of the therapy room, I'm an avid adventurer at heart. I've hiked through stunning national parks across the West Coast-including Yosemite and the Grand Canyon-and I'm always on the lookout for my next trail. I find joy in traveling and discovering the beauty woven into different corners of the world. When I'm not exploring, you'll likely find me soaking up the outdoors through gardening, kickball, rock climbing, or hanging out with my energetic Westie. I also have a soft spot for arcades-sometimes the best self-care is letting your inner kid take the lead! And when it's game day, you'll find me cheering on my favorite teams-Go Raiders and Yankees!
