Feeling like you don’t understand your children? Feeling disconnected from your partner? Is work draining all of your energy? These are common feelings that many of my clients have shared during treatment. Life can be stressful and sometimes we forget how to be present in the here and now. It’s important that we try to slow down to connect with those in our lives. I would be honored to walk alongside you on this journey to taking your life back and empowering you to live the life you have always longed for.

I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I have a certificate/concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling. I also have some background in working with addiction and substance use. My passion for working with children and adolescents stemmed from volunteering at an Autism Clinic and school to work with young children on the spectrum before attending graduate school.

During my free time and self-care, I enjoy reading a book, watching funny movies, and spending time with my new puppy Kayto. I try to commit to practicing self-care regularly, because I believe in order to be my best possible self, I must be able to take care of myself as well.
