Sometimes self-help culture can make us feel like the only thing between us and change is our lack of willpower. But that's not always true. My therapy sessions are holistic, which means we'll be looking at how your environment, your relationships, and your inner world fit together. In short, we're not looking for what's wrong with you; we're working to understand what you need. The therapy I practice is heavily inspired by Eastern philosophies like Buddhism which means we harness the power of acceptance to help you heal. In our sessions, healing isn't forced. It's what comes naturally when we uncover who you are and what you need.

My therapy works best for people who enjoy leaning into self-love when they heal, because through mindfulness techniques, we'll deepen your awareness of what exactly it is you go through and how you can bring acceptance and love to that experience. We'll probably use a combination of talking it out and sitting with it (a practice that's simple but powerful.)

I don't believe in bullying ourselves into change. My therapy is soft and patient - and deeply philosophical too. "What you resist persists" is my moto, and together we'll learn how you can stop fighting who you are and embrace your unique perspective in this world. We'll honor your individuality and find out what you need in order to thrive.

Since I also think it's important we get along on a personal level, here's a little about me. I consider myself an outgoing introvert and love anything artistic and creative (painting, writing, reading, crafts - you name it!). I'm a huge animal lover as well and more than a little bit of a history nerd. I can't wait to get to know you!
