MSW / LCSWA
As a dedicated therapist specializing in working with children and adolescents, I am passionate about guiding young people through their most challenging emotional experiences, including trauma, angry outbursts, and anxiety. My approach combines the best of evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, alongside a deep understanding of attachment theory, to help children and teens build emotional resilience, self-awareness, and a strong sense of identity.
I believe every child deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin and develop the skills they need to navigate the world confidently. My therapeutic approach emphasizes the importance of positive regard, empowering young people to trust in themselves and their decisions. I work to cultivate an environment where they can learn from their mistakes, process their emotions, and strengthen their critical thinking skills, which are key to becoming independent, thoughtful, and self-assured individuals. Whether addressing trauma, managing anxiety, or navigating the complex emotions of growing up, my goal is to help every child and adolescent I work with feel seen, heard, and equipped to thrive.
A balanced way of spending my free time includes outdoor activities, creativity, and exploration. Spending time with my three-year-old is fun and rewarding, especially going to botanical gardens or doing something hands-on like planting new flowers together. Cooking is such a great way to relax and be creative, too.
