When life gets challenging, we often feel overwhelmed, lost, not knowing how to get back on track and feel right again. In these types of situations, it is essential to realize that we are not alone and that it is alright and necessary to reach for help.
My counseling practice is primarily focused on adults. I enjoy working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships issues, life stressors, family dynamics, amongst many other concerns that may present in day-to-day life. I believe in the importance of embracing the holistic approach to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being; this includes honoring the mind-body connection.
In my clinical practice, I incorporate cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, existential, and expressive arts therapies to meet clients’ specific needs. We will collaboratively work on unhelpful and negative thinking patterns, conditioned behavior, while focusing on acquiring greater self-insight to discover meaning. I provide therapy from the strength-based perspective, helping clients locate inner sources of strength and potential. As a counselor, I feel privileged to join my clients on their journey of self-exploration, discovery, healing, and growth.
Outside of my work, I love spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, reading, painting, and connecting with nature.
