Thomas Floyd

I began my career as a therapist because I believe everyone is a valuable part of the world, and we all deserve to be the best version of ourselves. During therapy sessions, much of my focus lies in how my clients relate to others as a part of a larger system – their families, relationships, and their communities.

I use methods tailored to every individual to provide relief from unhelpful and negative thoughts and views of the world around them, causing hopelessness, anxiety and mood changes. I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important piece of therapy, and I value how this relationship helps clients to become resilient, aware, and empowered when they are moving through their lives.

I specialize in working with couples facing any kind of difficulty at any stage of their relationship, as well as individuals impacted by unresolved trauma, spiritual struggles, depression, and life transitions. I am originally from Santiago, Chile, and am proud to be able to help those in the Hispanic community, as I am fluent in Spanish and well-versed in the aspects of many Spanish-speaking cultures.

When not practicing therapy, I enjoy reading, sports, and spending time with my wife and family. I follow the NBA closely, and of course, am a huge Carolina Panthers fan.
