Do you find it difficult to ask for help? Have you ran out of options and what has worked before is no longer working? If you’re wondering if therapy could benefit you, you could ask yourself, “Why do people seek therapy?” Whether you’re an individual, couple or family with children experiencing a difficult life event/transition that has caused you to feel stuck, therapy can help you discover the choices you truly want to make, even when you’re faced with challenging decisions. No matter the circumstance, you do not have to tackle it alone and I’d be happy to help!
My collaborative, strength-based approach to therapy will help with increasing self-awareness, gain new perspectives, decrease symptoms, and increase personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience. I work with children, teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, and relational concerns. Sometimes even the strongest person or family unit may need support and guidance in dealing with unexpected circumstances and that is completely okay! We were never intended to overcome life’s challenges alone. It is in my highest priority to help you explore issues that are standing in the way of living life more fully by providing a safe, judgement free environment.
In my free time, I enjoy being on the water. I love summer and being in the sun with friends. Being on the lake is one of my favorite pastimes and self-care activities. I try to paddleboard almost every weekend. I love the outdoors in general and any activity that I can do while being outside such as hiking or exploring. When I am not enjoying the outdoors, I spend the rest of my time with my family. We are very close and enjoy spending as much time together as possible.
