Betty (Anna’s Co-Therapist)

Betty belongs to Thrive’s therapist Anna Miller Soper.

Betty is a year old, hypoallergenic, full blooded standard poodle. She has been working since she was 8 weeks old at a crisis recovery center where the clients truly enjoyed her presence.

She’s a great snuggler and is currently in training to be a therapy dog (planning to test mid summer). She’s a goof ball when she’s at home and if invited to be goofy at work, she can do that as well.

She wears LOTS of bling when she’s working because she likes to be beautiful for her clients. She is there to make things more comfortable for YOU when you are dealing with life’s stressors. She has the gift of weight and will lay on you like a weighted blanket to calm you down if desired. She is used as a “therapy tool” to assist in your counseling process. She acts as Anna’s co-therapist in session.

She enjoys playing fetch, going for long walks (not on the beach though, because it’s closed), mid day naps, all people, and eating all food off the floor (like a Roomba). And because she shares her home with two toddlers, you never know what you will find hidden in her hair (usually macaroni, because it’s like glue).
